In this Satsang, Roger suggest that life is not necessarily what it seems. That 'awakening' can be seen as a shift in identity, a shift from experiencing ourself as the subject being a body walking through an objective reality (the world) to a complete shift in subject whereby what 'I Am' is Known to be the awareness in which the whole universe arises.
Later on in the Satsang Roger answers a question about how awareness can be simultaneously inwardly and outwardly focussed, when infact this seems like a contradiction. The solution to this dilemma comes down to the belief in personal doership which forces the experience to be of only outwardly focussed attention.
