The universe is not broken
T'is it not a bitter activist who is attached to a particular outcome!
A happy one knows that they may stand, the outcome not in their control, either way life goes on as intended.
When tools are put down for the day, let activist and developer all share drink and a meal, if not there is hatred, a fate far more severe than any other development.
Isn't it sad and peculiar how us humans so easily forget that the universe is not broken just because we don't understand it. It is never broken even when concrete jungles are built.
Cathartic release
The false idea of who we are, the small self, which is what automatically reacts with the flow of life and becomes suffering, is contained in the body, locked away in the unresolved events of the past.
So intentionally, with curiosity and reason, go there to feel and understand.
This happens when those feelings which are often triggered and linger as a dull sensation in the body are encouraged to flower fully rather than the ingrained habit of suppressing and distracting.
When this is consciously allowed and the intense underlying feelings of shame and hatred towards oneself and the other for what happened show themselves, we are able to see the difference between our current attitude to life - all a happening and not anyone's doing - compared to the historic attitude locked away at the core of those feelings.
This recognition of the difference in our conscious attitude and what is locked away in the unconscious is the atonement. This is the washing away, the dissolving.
This is the difference between simply expressing emotions which can go on seemingly endlessly versus expressing and release.
It can seem counter-intuitive at first to encourage these feelings to bloom, but now we know why it is important for these feelings to become our friend and be felt. This is a crucial movement in the falling away of the false belief of who we are.
The body starts to feel lighter and lighter, and the true formless, untouched Self is able to come more and more into focus.
Peace
The same thing from another angle
If you find yourself on a spiritual journey which traverses you away from societal norms and you ever succumb to doubts that maybe you should be doing something more productive, that walking aimlessly through a park, or not having the motivation for certain old relationships, is, as many around you may suggest, a dysfunction, then consider this:
This quest is the most valid, rewarding and productive project you will ever embark upon.
Surrendering to lying on the couch from time to time, or often, is part of the project methodology.
See it this way and whatever your movement, as long as it driven by the search for Truth, is most valid and important - others will not have this vision - hold onto it firmly and that won't matter.
If you are asked what you are doing in life you can say:
I'm undertaking a research project into the nature of life and the amazing dynamics of inter human relationships, my findings so far have the potential to change life as we know it.
Enjoy.
Peaceful Christmas
Awareness is the only Subject.
The body is an object in that awareness. Thoughts and thinking are objects in that awareness. The entire momentary experience is an object in that awareness.
Thinking about this is an object in awareness.
Be the awareness that is aware of the objects and Know Thyself.
Peace and Love
Only one problem
There is truly only one problem for the human being.
It gets addressed with the question, WHO AM I?
If you look at your life and find that this quest is your priority, regardless of how smooth or tough the road is, it would not be inappropriate to fall to your knees, bow down to Source and feel very blessed.
Unhappiness
Unhappiness is the by-product of the reaction between, the belief there is of who we are, and, the flow of life.
An involuntary flood of feelings
Feelings such as despair sometimes flood the system uncontrollably as if injected intravenously, it is an energetic flood.
Often contained in this energy there is the absolute absence of any objectivity.
Coming to see it more and more often as an involuntary flood of energy and not your doing can lead to a witnessing and relaxation with the feeling when it happens.
An act of kindness
A spontaneous act of kindness is a great gift you'll receive today and will warm your heart unimaginably

Life is not what it appears to be
Isn't it wonderful when life starts unfolding in ways that get us suspecting that it's not at all as it appears on the surface.
A long list of shoulds and shouldnt's
Spiritual bravery is a gift of grace, it is the courage to start following what we feel to do rather than what we think we should or shouldn't do based on an attachment to outcomes. The most incideous attachment we tend to have is the desire to receive approval from others.
Freedom in practical terms really takes off when we start questioning our large list of shoulds and shouldnt's, seeing why they have been put in place and remain, and then start following our heart.
